We’ve been part of the Piper Branch family for nearly three years now, and it’s become an essential part of our son’s world—and ours. Every school day, our 10-year-old is picked up directly from his elementary school by the Boys & Girls Club bus and safely dropped off at the Piper Branch. That peace of mind is priceless. We only head to the club for pick-up in the afternoons (unless it’s a holiday break, when we drop him off and pick him up ourselves). Our son loves going—there’s no dragging of feet, ever. The staff greet him with the same excitement every day, and he adores them. John at the front desk is a fixture in our afternoons—always smiling, always ready with a quick update or a patient answer to any question. His positivity makes pick-up a pleasure. The programming is outstanding. After-school schedules keep the kids active and engaged, and holiday breaks are a highlight—full days packed with creative, themed activities that our son talks about and looks forward to for weeks. Year-round, the variety of sports, clubs, and specialty programs give him endless opportunities to explore, all led by a team that’s fun, caring, and deeply invested. Hillary, the new branch director, has been a fantastic addition. Her weekly newsletters are clear, consistent, and packed with helpful updates—keeping us in the loop on schedules, events, and important reminders. While the newsletters don’t usually include photos, the club’s Instagram page is regularly updated with fresh, candid shots of the kids in action, which we love. We rest easy knowing our son isn’t just in good hands—he’s surrounded by people who see him. The team celebrates his successes, helps him navigate challenges, and has supported his growth in confidence, social skills, and curiosity. At 10 years old, he’s thriving, and we credit so much of that to the Piper Branch. This isn’t just after-school care—it’s a community, a support system, and a joyful constant in our son’s life. We’re grateful every day for the Piper Branch and its incredible staff!

They do a great job of creating a fun and varied day for the kids. When there are concerns with behavior, they are quick to act. The leadership (Ashley) and staff are fantastic!

Oliver Ekman Larson built a beautiful roller rink for kids and people to use. But when they have no idea who built the rink and why it’s there is disrespectful. We get kicked off all the time because we have to pay to use it when you know the boys and girls club probably only use it for soccer it’s very annoying! Please make this available to the public
