Powered by GoogleMy daughter attended a summer camp at the Boys and Girls Club, and she really enjoyed it. The camp was well-organized and provided a variety of activities that kept her engaged throughout. I’d like to mention Teacher Priyanka, who was particularly creative with the art and crafts. My daughter came home every day with lovely projects that she was so proud of, and it was clear that Teacher Priyanka knows how to handle young children effectively and with care. I also want to express my gratitude to Dorothy and Crystal for their patience during the camp. Their support helped make the experience a positive one for my daughter.
I was looking for a part time pre K for my son and I found a perfect place. The balance between entertaining and educating the kids that teacher Priyanka gave was on point. My son was always happy to go to school because he knows that he is going to see his friends and kind and energetic teacher! Thank you so much for your dedication and helping kids to grow in their own way. The staff were amazing too like Dorothy and Crystal. Thank you so much for your hard work in helping with the classroom! Thank you Leslie for answering all of my questions and taking care of the class from time to time.
I sent my kid to the Great Futures Preschool program at BGC of Bellevue. The level of parental engagement the school expected was a good balance between “come see the children perform” at the end of each semester and “share with the kids your story / your career” if you can volunteer. This was one way to feel a sense of community. Teacher Priyanka and teachers’ assistants created a safe and comfortable environment for each kid to grow and learn how to set boundaries. I can tell that Ms. Priyanka really knew the students one by one, and she inspired the kids to enjoy arts and crafts that was also her passion. The students were respected with their own style of painting that evolved over time. I appreciate the staff, including Dorothy, who helped alongside in classroom. Thank you!
I am so glad that my child was able to attend BGC Great Futures Preschool. It was a great community of kids and families. Since many live in apartments within walking distance, we’ve stayed in touch and play dates are easy to arrange. The school really benefited from having a caring community of staff who did special lessons for the kids and were familiar faces who could fill in if one of the teachers was out for the day. Our child rarely got sick through their time in school here, so I think the building must be very healthy and have good ventilation. The ceilings are also pretty high, with big windows, so as an adult, it’s a very pleasant place to be. The gym is very spacious for rainy day recess, and there’s a nice outdoor playground. Such a lovely facility! The teachers at the school are excellent. Teacher Priyanka has a very comprehensive approach to the kids’ education, with careful attention to their growth and abilities in meeting many milestones and excellent communication about our child’s social interactions. We were able to be confident that they were growing and also had the info we needed to support their development at home; it really felt like we were a team. We are so happy with how much our child learned. The class as a whole was able to write their names at a young age with the frequent practice they received. The kids in this school were so impressive in their individual abilities, such as being good with numbers, reading, maps, etc., and there was lots of opportunity for creativity through art and play too. Our kid was excited to go to school and came home singing all sorts of new songs learned with their classmates, who they just refer to as “friends.” Teacher Mara is also an excellent educator, and free-spirited and fun. My child had a shorter time in her class but loved having her as a teacher, and the two classes had such cute interactions and friendships even among kids of different ages.
Both of our 2 sons attended their pre-K day program, and both have had great experiences with especially their teacher Priyanka. They've made friends who they play at the park together afterschool, go to birthday parties, etc. The Boys and Girls club provides a much affordable option in comparison to other preschool programs in the area, and their staff has been great in helping our kids' growth. They're a reminder that you don't need to pay 3000+ /month to get a caring and educational program for your little ones.
