Any reviews above three stars are likely the result of Melissa and her lackeys. While the concept of the Boys & Girls Club is commendable, the execution has significantly declined in recent years, and it's clear that management is not prioritizing the welfare of the children. The locations, once a great place for kids, are now plagued by serious issues that cannot be ignored. First, the child-to-staff ratio is concerning. With older, undertrained teenagers responsible for supervising 40+ children, it's difficult to believe this meets basic safety standards. It’s not uncommon for children to be left in corners, unsupervised, with no meaningful guidance or structure. This is not an environment where children are being properly cared for or mentored. Additionally, there are alarming reports of racial bullying occurring within the club, both between children and, unfortunately, even from some staff members. When complaints are raised, they are quickly dismissed or swept under the rug, creating a toxic environment for everyone involved. While I have encountered a few exceptional staff members in the past; they were the exception, not the rule. Many of them were overworked, underpaid, and eventually left due to the lack of support and poor treatment by management. It’s clear that the leadership cares more about profits than the well-being of the children or the staff. In conclusion, if you’re considering a place where your child will be safe and cared for, I would recommend looking elsewhere - perhaps the YMCA, where community values seem to take priority over financial gain. Until serious changes are made, I cannot recommend this organization.

I would really reconsider taking your kids to this place. Our kids are signed up and we convinced our friends to sign their kids up. What is being reported back to me is that they discriminate against White kids. Our kids are constantly getting bullied by the non-White kids and the staff also singles them out. They get yelled at for talking to each other and the non-White kids don't. They get yelled at by the staff for simply sitting on benches and the non-White kids are allowed to without getting yelled at. Furthermore, I have asked for the contact of the director and have not received one.

The Nampa Boys and Girls Club is a gift to our community! This organization allows us parents and Guardians to drop our children off as early as 7:00 a.m., and pick them up after school ends. Furthermore, the staff help our children get to school before the bell rings for class! This is such a beautiful thing for me personally because it allows me to work my job and provide for my family. From the programs to the cost; I have nothing but good things to say about Nampa Boys and Girls Club. I just want praise the staff for their commitment to our children. They watch over many of our children in this community, and I give them five-star status for literally everything they do for our kids. They have a lot on their plate, but they handle it like a boss! Thank you Nampa Boys and Girls Club for everything you do! You guys truly are amazing! Thank you for serving our community in such a wonderful way!
