Boylan Tennis Center runs leveled summer junior tennis programs from a six-court indoor facility on the Boylan Catholic High School campus in Rockford, with most summer classes held outdoors at Harlem High School's courts. Programs are short classes rather than day camps and meet two days a week: Red/Orange for ages 3-11 on basic ball tracking and stroke fundamentals (one hour), Green/Skillbuilder for beginners to advanced beginners ages 11-14 (90 minutes), and a Yellow Ball camp of intense drilling and conditioning for experienced, competitive players (three hours). Morning or evening tracks are offered, full-session or drop-in, with adult programs and private lessons alongside.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Boylan Tennis Center directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Older facility maintenance might be a little LAX but overall was nice place
We can't here for Phantom regiment drum and bugle corpe competition. It was a great time.
Ever since they came under new management, they've come through for this community. Lots to offer, an open and accessible schedule, and friendly and knowledgeable staff.
A huge facility with 6 courts. It is outdated. The spectator area is very small so it makes it difficult to see the last 3 courts. You cannot read the scores in the last 3 courts. They should consider expanding the spectator area and installing cameras on the courts and then put screens in the spectator area so all courts can be watched.
