Borderland Rainbow Center
Private
Borderland Rainbow Center is El Paso's LGBTQIA+ community center, which runs the Rio Grande Rainbow Camp, an immersive leadership experience for LGBTQ youth in the region, along with youth support groups for teens (ages 14-19) and transgender youth (ages 5-13). The nonprofit provides affirming, supportive programming rather than a traditional recreational camp.

We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Borderland Rainbow Center directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Great place for queer resources and HIV testing. They have a nice brunch every weekend. They also just started an event to go with the brunch. They have queer artists and creatives come in to showcase and sell their work; everything from paintings to clothing, jewelry, and tattoo designs. Great way to support and build the community.
A great place to be your self and let your colors shine!!! Come here to learn about the local LGBTQ+ community and feel welcomed by an amazing group. There is a food pantry every morning. Activities, therapy and many other services are available.
Great people, very friendly. The pantry goes by rather quickly. A different assortment of items every week. So much more than a food pantry. Different activities posted online in the calendar section.
We went for storytime with Barbie and the kids had the best time! They liked the books and had so much fun! Thank you.
