Bolts & Bytes Maker Academy is a Jacksonville Beach makerspace running hands-on, project-based STEM/STEAM summer camps for kids ages 6–13. Week-long morning and afternoon sessions cover robotics, coding, 3D printing, electronics, drones, woodworking and DIY building, with separate tracks for younger makers (6–9) and older makers (10+). Camps are enrichment-focused and held in a fully equipped makerspace.

He got to design his own skateboard (from a series of designs), cut it out of wood using a jig-saw, sand it, etc. The owners are excellent teachers and really make the kids feel like they can do anything. Feel lucky that we found them early on, because this place will book up quickly. We're looking forward to future camps and activities as well.
