Our child has been dancing here for over 5 years, and has enjoyed many different types of rec dance and higher level technique ballet. We find the pricing reasonable and the recital and costumes top notch at the end of the year. (Only complaint is their parking lot needs tlc, new painted lines and patching the pot holes in back. It gets difficult in the winter)

My daughters were both former students and except for one teacher, the teachers there don't care about teaching the proper techniques and making sure they really know their steps unless they are competition dancers. My daughters both learned more their first year at their current dance studio verses years at BLDC. Also, my daughters learn two dances every year and have two recitals every year versus only one dance at BLDC.

Daughter there for 11 years. Left studio recently due to the lack of education, knowledge and direction with ballet.. Not a strong studio if looking for the absolute foundation of dance. Ballet they fall so behind. My daughter is way behind in ballet for her age from this studio.

PI've been involved at Body Language since they opened in Jenison. My daughters have both been given excellent technical training in a caring, nurturing environment. One daughter is now pursuing a dance degree in college. I had such a great experience as a dance parent that now that my daughters are no longer dancing there, I'm taking adult classes. Would not consider any other studio in the Grand Rapids area.

My daughter is entering her 6th year of dance and absolutely loves it!! The progress she makes every year is amazing to watch. She is also developing supportive friendships and making life long memories! It's a very welcoming environment and the staff is AWESOME! I would highly recommend Body Language Dance Company!
