Blue Water Theatre Company is a Wayzata nonprofit youth theatre for grades 3-12 that runs a two-week summer camp in which young actors rehearse a musical and give three to four live performances. Campers work with a music director and choreographer, while a student tech crew handles lights, sound, and set under a technical director.

What an amazing gift for our youth to be a part of the productions at Blue Water Theater. The shows are high quality, well adapted for kids, and fun to watch. The community is supportive and welcoming. The team members and directors care deeply for their craft and the future of the arts. So grateful to be a part of it as a parent. Highly recommend.
What a surprise! My daughter has a couple of friends in the company and we saw Beetlejuice this weekend. The stage is pretty large for the small space. Seats are up close and personal- there really isn't a bad seat in the house. There is only street parking and for new comers- entrance is in the back. Staff is friendly and helpful. The kids in the play were very talented and you can see everyone in company is passionate about their work. The play was fast moving, a lot of musical numbers, and plenty of comedy. What a great experience for the actors and crew and the audience!
My 11 year old daughter did a camp here for the play "13 Jr" and not only did she have SO much fun, I was delighted by how entertaining the final production was! I thought it was worth every penny and we're already marking our calendars to sign up for another camp next summer. Highly recommend!
