BR is truly a very special place. It's a throwback to much simpler and more wholesome times via its all girls overnight Equestrian summer camp. This is perfect for any young lady who loves horses. The camp had had such a positive impact on our daughter that we continually make the 7 hour drive from Chicago year after year. What a blessing!

I went to camp at here in the late 1960s - early 1970s. I'm 64 years old now and my days at the BR were the happiest days of my childhood!! What memories!! I remember Mr D and Miss Meg and Miss Ida and many more. I took Butter Brickle home one winter....and Bald Eagle another. Brickle and Tiger Roan were my favorite horses. I loved feeding the baby cows and goats and trail rides where were swam into the lake with the horses. Best time ever!! So glad the place is still around bringing happy memories to many very, very lucky girls!! ♥️♥️♥️
