BELN is a wonderful nonprofit that cares about healthy childhood development. They work tirelessly to advocate early education for children across the Bitterroot valley and are networking across the state with likeminded organizations. They focus on community oriented engagement for children and families and also enriching experiences outdoors. BELN also hosts a variety of community activities that families can participate in; some seasonal like a pumpkin patch trips in the fall, and others like face painting at a summer farmers market. Whatever BELN is up to at any given moment it is sure to include lovely family fun with an emphasis on positive childhood experiences and memories.

BELN is setting the standard for early childhood care not only here in the Valley, and they are having a big impact statewide as a model. We have a huge shortage of childcare in RC that impacts businesses and families. Their creative efforts to address the local needs is impressive.

BELN does an outstanding job of creating opportunities for children to be an active part of their community, while also inviting their families and BELN staff to get involved as well. This focus on community is so important, as the Bitterroot has such an amazing sense of community and support for one another that should be instilled in our youth from a young age. BELN has taken this initiative which not only changes the lives of children and their families, but also of the local businesses and community members.

Their dedication to supporting families and early childhood providers with valuable resources is truly making a difference in the community. It's inspiring to see such a passionate organization driving positive change for our youngest learners.
