I attended the last showing of Ragtime. Play was fantastic. Music and dancing was awesome. Theater was a little cramped but once the play began, I was so captivated that all my surroundings went away and I was so involved with the story and was blown away with the whole production. The theater has an elevator that enables accessibility for handicap individuals to enjoy the theatrical experience.

Our first time here we drove from Florida. The performance of Shawshank Redemption was very well done, it was a very talented cast. We loved the show itself but the theatre establishment as a whole has room for improvement. We bought the tickets as soon as they were available however there is no assigned seating which is a huge disappointment, we personally hate that. Although you get the electronic ticket on your phone with barcode it’s no good as you have to get a wristband at checkin to enter, therefore slowing things down and making your electronic ticket worthless. The food and beverage line is a disaster, one line does drinks which is so long we ended up just not getting anything which really stunk. They do mixed drinks which obviously have to be mixed but soda is poured from a 2 liter which is very slow, just get a can of bottle and move the line along. Meanwhile the line for snacks is virtually empty but you can’t get a drink there, very confused as to this. Why not make a line for your slow mixed drinks and alcohol then add cans or bottles with your snack line. I’m not waiting 20 minutes for a plastic cup of soda, meanwhile while you’re standing in line every seat is taken and your party of now has a chance to not even sit together. Not the theatre’s fault but rude people with their phones going off and whatnot is simply disrespectful but that’s today world, if you say something who knows how that escalates anymore. The great plastic cups of soda are spilled by people so ladies careful setting your purses down we had to walk through dripping soda around our seats. We’d possibly go again if it was something extraordinary but probably not worth the drive for us. For sure you better bring a drink and quench your thirst prior to entering.
