The Bill Wright Tennis Center, run by the Vail Recreation District, holds week-long junior tennis camps for ages 7 to 17 on eight Har-Tru clay courts in Ford Park, with the Gore Mountain Range as a backdrop. Camps run Monday to Friday from 1:00 to 3:30pm between late June and mid-August, cost $325 per weekly session, and take beginner through advanced players through a stroke a day alongside hand-eye coordination, footwork and match play. The 2.5-hour afternoon format is a short session rather than a full day, and registration is open to the public online.

We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Bill Wright Tennis Center directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleAmazing courts. Incredibly scenic. But the staff were even better.
I’m a big tennis fan but the clay courts here are way too slippery, it’s almost like playing on ice with a sheet of snow covering it. It’s really hard to have any sudden directional change without completely losing grip with your shoes.
A great setting, nice courts, pleasant people & a fantastic pro for my junior player! Thank you CC!
All public clay courts. Amazingly beautiful. Fantastic!!
The outdoor clay courts are terrific and the prices are very affordable to reserve a court. My mother-in-law and I even played in a "cardio tennis" workout this morning and the pro was really friendly and really got our heart rates up! We plan to try the doubles tomorrow and do cardio tennis again on Monday!
