Gary, I want to share some concerns about the experience at the tournament. As parents, we’re here to support our kids and enjoy watching them play. Being told we can’t communicate observations to coaches, especially when we see something important, feels discouraging and unnecessary. There also seems to be a lack of game management support. Parents shouldn’t have to monitor the score or help manage situations that staff should be overseeing. More staff involvement and guidance for the players would make a big difference. We pay to attend these events and expect a welcoming, well-organized environment. Improving communication and hospitality would go a long way toward making this a better experience for families and athletes alike. I hope these concerns are taken seriously so future tournaments can run more smoothly.
