I love this place. The staff are very friendly. Very fun activities. I absolutely love it there! Time of my life.

Staff is phenomenal in scheduling for educational field trips. They schedule activities to meet NC standards and for students to get the most out of the trip for what they pay. Would recommend BJP for any Science classes. This is also a great place to bring groups for a team building retreat.

I am 40 years old now and went here for my 8th grade field trip when I was 13. I still remember going here and it looks like they still do all the same things like they did way back when our 8th grade went for a week. We had a blast. Such great memories still until this day.

Went literally almost 13 or 14 years ago and had a absolute blast. I'm sure its changed at least a tiny bit over the years, but while I was there we made candles, navigated canoes, interacted with horses and other animals, and even practiced our archery lol. If I'm not mistaken, the food was pretty good. If this place is open when I have children and they're of age, I wouldn't mind letting them experience this opportunity. Long story short, this camp and the experience I had is legit enough to make me randomly think about it 14 years later at 2 am.

My daughter just attended a three day overnight school camp at BJP. She had an awesome experience , no complaints. The days are well organized with no confusion in the scheduling. The staff was quick to assist with any questions. If the children want to learn about nature and their environment there are many of opportunities to learn, in a fun hands on way. This is a 4H camp so you will be participating in outdoor activities, if you don’t like the outdoors and getting dirty and walking a lot , this camp, probably will not be the camp for you.
