Powered by GoogleI have volunteered at this camp for over 20 years. We have taken many teens over the years and have seen many of those come to know Christ. Travis and Nancy Bankester poured their lives into the the camp. Sharing the gospel, loving those kids and praising God for every salvation. Jerry and Judy Thomas stepped in a few years ago and have continued to improve the camp and carry on Gods work. This place and the kids there will forever have a place in my heart. Looking forward to camp this summer. Praying it will be the best year yet.
Bertram Bobb Bible Camp is an amazing camp for children and teenagers. Jerry and Judy have done a great job carrying on the legacy of the camp that Travis and Nancy set. They always staff the camp with great churches and groups that connect with the kids and share the gospel.
Have gotten to be a part of this camp for many years. My youngest got to be a camper for the first time this summer. We ended up bringing 7 campers. They have had the greatest time and are already talking about coming back next summer!
Great camp teaching the Word. It isn't the Hilton but each cabin is air conditioned. There are lots of team activities and opportunities for growth. Each camper is encouraged to memorize scripture along with other competitions to earn points with a reward going to the winning team. And, just if you are wondering, there are separate cabins for the boys and girls with a thick wooded area separating them.
We visited with the folks there that run the camp. Have known them for several years. They are dedicated to what they're doing there. The camp is Bible based and have good teachers. Would recommend this place to parents with children of school age. Out of the way by very safe for children. Founded by a man with a vision and being carried on by the one's that over-see it today.
