Free city-run day camp at Bert Ferguson Park & Community Center, one of 23 City of Memphis community center camp sites, where campers do recreational, athletic and educational activities plus field trips, with a box lunch and snack included. Camp runs Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. from June 1 to July 24 for ages 5-12, and it is also one of six centers running a teen camp for ages 13-15. Registration is free for City of Memphis residents and requires proof of residency, a birth certificate and proof of guardianship.

★★★★★Will TVery good community center in the midst of Cordova. Play pickleball there on Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00-3:00pm. Pickleballers there are of a variety of skill levels. All are supportive of each other with a nice community feel. Staff workers there are good. Bathrooms are clean. Other variety of activities are there including badminton and workout room with treadmills. Has an outdoor walking trail and children’s activity play set. No pool.
★★★Kat's Ever-Winding RoadA quiet, peaceful park. The playground has several slides that are broken with sharp plastic jutting up in a way that could injure children, especially on the toddler playground. Otherwise, aside from needing a little more upkeep, it was a nice park.
