Bennett Youth Center at Schofield Barracks is an Army Child, Youth & School Services (CYS) center. Its School Age Care program provides full summer-break day camp for children ages 6–12, and the Middle School/Teen program serves grades 7–12 with supervised recreation and enrichment. Enrollment is limited to CYS-registered military and DoD-civilian families.

The youth center has been a blessing for my daughter over the years, she has enjoyed spending time in the art, music, and gaming rooms, as well as the over night sleepover events with dinner and foods. The staff are engaging and helpful with countless classes, activities, and field trips each year. They have a bus that can collect kiddos from onbase school each day, and they are open during the summer time. The Bennett youth program and center is definitely an asset for military families.

This place provides after school snack that are big enough to satisfy my kids, which in and of itself is amazing. The staff are so polite and so good with the kids. Strict dress code though, so before you send your older kids here (mine are both in high school) make sure you read and understand the dress code.

Bus service is provided to various middle and high schools in the area at $15 per month. You can also walk or ride there with a personal vehicle. 😊
