The worst experience I have ever had at a daycare. My 4 year has been in daycare since he was 6 weeks old and was at 1 daycare before I put him in Bascol for the summer to get him accustomed to the school he was starting in September. Everyone one in the afternoon is unfriendly. I have tried to explain to them his sensory issues along with routine. After 4 weeks I pulled him out of Bascol and sent him back to daycare. I will figure before school care and summer care out before I ever put him back in a program like that.

This is our first summer using Bascol and I couldn’t be more impressed. The staff that greet us at the door in the morning and after work are friendly, welcoming, personable and take great pride in their job. My kids come home with lots of fun activities and stories, but most importantly, I know they feel safe. We will be using Bascol for many more summers to come!

Bascol has been a great place for my child. There were some minor issues in the beginning that we were able to resolve by a simple conversation. I haven’t had any major issues with the program. My child enjoys attending!

I usually don’t make reviews but I wanted to warn other parents of the harassment me and my children endured while enrolled at LBE bascol by the worker, manager, and director. I had my children enrolled for a year at bascol in that time I was constantly called for minor issues that they blew out of proportion regarding my kids and threatened continuously to kick them out for things they didn’t even do that other children admitted to doing. The worker at LBE threatened my children because they were complaining they were bored and told them that he could find a way to have them kicked out if they didn’t wanna be there. There was an incident following this threat where the manager directed him to start taking photos of my children to “document” them. He then proceeded to take photos of my daughter on his PERSONAL cell phone. When my children noticed he called them into the hall and said he would delete them. My daughter saw the photos and said they included her entire body, later the director/manager/worker would deny this and claim it was just of her artwork and that it was deleted. A police report has been made regarding this since they failed to protect my children or even listen to them and me. The only concern they had was their behavior which was all false accusations with no follow up. A middle aged man should not be taking photos of young children to document them on his personal cell phone even with an order to do so from the manager, unreal!
