Barron Gymnastics in St. Louis runs Camp Barron, a summer day camp that groups children by age (roughly 2-3, 4-5, 6-8, and 9-12) into small groups of ten or fewer, each with a personal camp leader. A custom curriculum drives obstacle courses, events, and games throughout the day in a safe, active environment.

Powered by GoogleMy daughter has been a student at Barron in South County for nearly 3 years. Her skill level has drastically improved and the while she has gone through 6 or more teachers, they are always kind and welcoming. They know exactly how to speak to and encourage young kids and never snap or run out of patience. What she has learned from them through these classes are keeping her very active and healthy without it feeling like a chore. I think we will continue to be members for a very long time.
We’ve been part of the Barron Gymnastics family since my oldest was just 14 months old in the parent-tot class, and we truly couldn’t love it more. Watching both of our daughters grow and progress through the program has been such an amazing experience. The coaches are encouraging, patient, and truly care about each child’s development—not just in skills, but in confidence too. The progression through each level feels so natural, and it’s been incredible to see how much both of our girls have learned over time. Barron Gymnastics has been such a positive, fun, and supportive environment for our family. We’re so grateful to be part of it!
My daughter is new to Barron but we have had an excellent experience so far. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and kind. We missed a week and the receptionist was very helpful on getting her in an open gym to make up her time!
My girls have had a great experience at Barron. The staff is friendly. The instructors are good with kids & knowledgeable. The programs seem organized. The facility is nice. I would recommend! My youngest loves Una as an instructor!
Our girls have had the BEST time in Ballet/Tap with Mr. Spencer and Ms. Lexie! Their attention span is fleeting, at best, and the teachers are so patient and able to adapt to and incorporate whatever shenanigans the girls get up to. I love that it has increased my daughters' body awareness, flexibility, and memory/pattern recognition. Plus I love that I can enjoy my kids' from the other side of the glass for an hour - it's a nice break!
