Powered by GoogleCABIN AND CAFETERIA STAFF WERE AMAZING!!!! Had a Catholic retreat that was presented by FOCUS and the camp grounds were AMAZING. They had human Foos ball!!
Attended a Christmas party/dinner in the dining hall area. Perfect for appx 40 people. Bancroft staff prepared our dinner in the kitchen there. We'll set up, food was great, very clean, felt cozy even though it was big enough for all of us (& more). Teenagers had fun playing outside on one of their activities. Those preparing food were very kind. Will go back!
I began going to Bancroft as a child, went on to be Jr staff, counselor, and now, as an adult, a supporter. Bancroft changed my life in so many ways, it gave me a second family, lifelong friends, created lifelong memories, and deepened my love for God. The staff truely care for everyone they come in contact with and pour themselves into ministry with love. I can't even begin to express how much I love Bancroft and the staff. I am so thankful this ministry lives on and grows and can't wait to see how God continues to work through them.
If I could give a zero star review then I would. My younger sister went this year and four of the counselors forced the girls to eat their meals and clean their plate even when two of them vomited. They would also not let them get their sunscreen out of their suitcases on the last day after they had already packed up even though it was sunny and almost 95 degrees so my sister came home covered in sunburn. Do not waste the 200 dollar admission to send your child to this pathetic and abusive excuse of a bible camp.
What an INCREDIBLE hidden gem right here in Kingsport! Beautiful campus. Very nice people that run the place and it is tucked away just outside the hustle and bustle of town.
