Week-long dance camps run by the academy of BalletMet, Central Ohio's professional ballet company, held at its downtown Columbus studios or at the McConnell Arts Center in Worthington. Camps meet 9am-noon or 1-4pm - a half-day, three-hour session - at $250 per week, mostly for ages 4-6 (Swan Lake Storybook, Clara's Nutcracker Adventure, Welcome to the Kingdom, Tutus and Tails) with a Dance Time Machine camp for ages 6-8. Each week blends age-appropriate ballet classes, storytelling, crafts and an end-of-week showcase for families. The academy is one of the country's largest attached to a professional company and teaches ages 3 to adult year-round.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when it came to the diversity of the dancers in Giselle as well. Taking my mom and younger sister to see Cinderella in April. I can confidently say I will be a regular at these shows as long as I am a Columbus resident!
