I would give no starts if I could. Horrible fútball league. Completely unorganized, unprepared. And very against the parents who voice a concern or problem. Coaches don't show up on time if at all. Parents did most of the work. Also there was a referee at 2 out of like 7 games. I will never be going back to the soccer league, and I would never put my son through it again. They don't teach, they just have you throw the ball at each other. And the effect on my son is unacceptable. You are horrible people and you do a horrible thing to these children that want to learn and succeed in this world renowned sport.
AYSO Region 153 is one of the best thing that has happened to our family. Our two youngest children have never joined any competitive sports team but we decided to give it a try last year. Our youngest has really grown in the last year which motivated us to continue registering. The coaches (Andy and Christina) as well as the Team Mom (Marina) have gone above and beyond to help all the players develop into their full potential. There is pressure to perform but it is not unrealistic, overbearing expectations, but instead a real push to help the kids see what amazing things they can accomplish personally. If you are on the fence about joining, please use this review as the gentle nudge to motivate you to sign up!
