Powered by GoogleGreat for the district camp. Ranger is a stellar human being. Wish the rich alumni would poor money into the aging infrastructure. Wish the lake was swimmable. Seems like a must in the Louisiana heat.
We just went for a camp out, but it was so nice having bath houses at sites. The area was clean & campfire area was beautiful overlooking lake.
Its one of thr better scout camps out there its not thr best and not the worst
We've been going here for over a decade. The biggest complaint is the heat, but what can you do? It's southern Lousiana. Lots of improvements have been made over the years. The reopened Istrouma Trail should be a great attraction.
We are here right now and it's by far and away the best scout experience I've ever been on. The facilities make it enjoyable without feeling like there's too much encroachment. Amazing views and a great lake. We will definitely be back.
