10 out of 10 recommend Miss Ro! My daughter is five years old and just began her lessons. Miss Ro turned my terrified, tearful little honey into a brave, confident, big kid on a horse in one hour. Her leadership style may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but she is definitely ours! She is firm but kind and safely pushed my little girl outside of her comfort zone. Miss Ro opened up a whole new world of skills just by showing my girl to how to believe in herself. Imagine a drill sergeant, your favorite teacher, and your mama all in one, and that is Miss Ro in a nutshell. I watched her effortlessly manage 5 riders, all while accommodating each and every one of their skill levels and providing a full and complete lesson to each. We also had Davon and Della’s help and those kids are absolutely incredible. The way Davon taught my daughter a few things was wonderful. So professional for such young people. Thanks again Miss Ro!

Had an amazing time this morning on my first ever trail ride at Autumn’s Gate!! RO WAS AMAZING! She made me feel so comfortable getting up on the horse and riding she’s an amazing instructor and I would 110% take more lessons and rides with her! She amazing teaching our daughter to ride and making her more confident and comfortable with every lesson! Can’t wait to book again and ride and learn more from her!! My daughter has recently started taking lessons. She’s 12 and can be a little shy and quiet at times. She absolutely loves Ro as her instructor! Ro helps her feel comfortable and confident riding and caring for the horses. She is always asking when her next lesson is going to be scheduled with her! I love the flexibility and easy scheduling Autumns Gate offers. My cousin was in from out of town this weekend and really wanted to checkout where my daughter has been taking lessons. Ro had mentioned to me on Sundays she does trail rides, I called with a slight chance they had anything available, Autumns Gate was amazingly flexible and we were able to schedule a trail ride before my cousin had to leave to go head back home. The trail ride was an absolute blast, even though it was cold! Ro was very informative and helpful throughout! Her energy and personality made the experience memorable and absolutely enjoyable! We all were laughing and having the best time. I will definitely be booking more soon! 100/10 will always be recommending!

My 11 year old has been coming here for a year now for spring camps and day camps. I was there today for the first time and wow. This place is incredible. My daughter’s teacher met her today for the first time and knew she needed to be challenged and boy, they worked together so well and she taught her so much in one lesson. I’ve never seen her so passionate about something in her life! Ro was her instructor and she even made me feel comfortable. If I could give it ten stars, I would. I may be signing up for my own lessons.

Took my 8 year old for her first horseback riding experience. We had no idea what to expect, but the reviews were great so we decided to give it a whirl. Miss Ro did a GREAT JOB helping my child feel comfortable, get over her nerves, and feel confident riding a horse alone! I was pleasantly surprised TBH! I didn’t think she’d be able to ride alone, but she did and Miss Ro was with her every step of the way. My daughter can’t WAIT to go again! Thank you Autumn’s Gate for such a cool experience, and thank you Miss Ro for helping Sydney find her confidence in riding! We will absolutely be back!!
