Went for kids day today 6/24 and their indoor kids gym that was supposed to be 5 and under was not that. A safe space for my son was ruined by older kids running amok and almost running him down with their bikes they provided. Enforce your rules or don't have them posted. It was a joke. Many little kids left vulnerable to being hurt by bigger kids who clearly had parents who don't care.

I absolutely love this dept. they have done so many kid friendly/family friendly events. They have so many classes and programs. I love their summer camp programs for kids. Very grateful for all the programs they offer our community.

After calling to reserve rogner park, was told that it's available all day so I wouldn't need to worry about reserving...over an hour, almost 2 into our party people show up claiming to have reserve it to which I call them back and they say that party was refunded and it's first come first serve, after I put her on speaker to explain this to the incoming party they claim they never got the refund and we had to move our whole party after we had already been there. Absolutely absurd.

They are redoing auburndale park next to my house and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with how fast everything has been completed. I was a bit concerned because they were replacing the asphalt with gravel and my nephew always bikes over there. So I called and got through very quickly and the guy explained the gravel will be even more accessible than the asphalt. He was so kind for taking time out of his day to explain everything! My mom, nephew, and I walked over to check out the construction and one of the guys walked over and started talking to us and gave my nephew a free hat he was sooo happy. Thank you for making our community a nicer and safer place :) Also they are adding a crosswalk by a dangerous area which I really appreciate as well since we all walk around here. Glad to see our city making a difference in our neighborhood!

This review is regarding the summer camp cheerleading. Signed my daughter up for afternoon cheer not knowing they have a strict guideline parents can’t watch… professional cheer camps let the parents watch, smh this is the last time I’ll put her in this summer program. The ymca is way more parent friendly for actively involved parents trying to enjoy the smile on their kids face. Not to mention it’s hundreds of dollars, I wanna know what my daughter is getting. Seemed to be way to many kids for the instructor to kid ratio
