Atkins Tennis Center is the University of Illinois tennis facility in Urbana and the summer host site for Fighting Illini Tennis Camps and Nike Tennis Camps. Junior campers get roughly 35 hours of on-court training over five days - about seven hours a day - covering stroke technique, match strategy and conditioning, taught by Illinois coaches Brad Dancer (Fighting Illini camps) and Evan Clark (Nike camps); the Nike camp runs both day and overnight options for ages 10-18 and draws juniors from around the country. Outside camp weeks the center is open to the Urbana-Champaign community with no membership fee, offering court reservations, private lessons, group clinics and leagues.

Powered by GoogleBeautiful indoor courts and plenty of outdoor courts also. The speedometer was super fun to test how fast I could serve! Friendly staff and amazing facility. 🎾
Watched several illini tennis games here. Free parking space. Nice place, got seats upstairs, FREE ADMISSION!
Tennis courts are nice. The employees are always rude. You enter and they immediately ask you why you are there, even if it is for an event open to the public. And don't even think about trying to use a restroom. You are not worthy.
Great tennis facility. Lots of courts, good viewing. The thing keeping it a 4 instead of 5 are the courts. The surface is a tad slow for hard courts and and the color of the courts is awful. While you are playing, if the sun is overhead, the blue is very reflective so the glare is bothersome.
Great place for all ages to play tennis
