The Athens Community Center runs a city-operated summer day camp for children ages 5-12 with weekly themes such as Athens Adventure Club, Mad Science Mayhem and Game On! Each week includes games, crafts, activities and trips to the public library, farmers' market and two visits to the city pool; lunches are provided free through the regional food bank. Before- and after-care are available for an added fee.
