The Aspen Science Center is a nonprofit that runs week-long hands-on STEM day camps for kids ages 3-14 at locations from Aspen to Silt (offices in Carbondale). Offerings range from Early STEM and Kinder STEM for young children to specialty camps in robotics, rockets, chemistry, physics, crime-scene science, a Junior Doctor Academy and Girls in STEM. Younger sessions run part-day (e.g., 9-11:30 am); limited competitive scholarships are available.
