Powered by GoogleWe absolutely love ACM! Such a sweet community that really persevered through Helene & kept everyone together. Our daughter has grown as an athlete and as a person since joining this gym. Positive atmosphere and supportive coaches. They encourage the kids to work hard and do their best, while maintaining focus on what's most important for young people's all around development.
ACM is is a second home for our daughter who is finishing her fourth year on Team. The coaches and staff consistently put athlete well-being first while also encouraging hard work, dedication, and personal growth. They create an environment where athletes are challenged to be resilient, support one another, and develop confidence both in and out of the gym. My daughter unfortunately fell at school recently and became injured. Her coaches continued to show up for her at practice by modifying her workout and easing her back into her comfort zone. They prioritize the safety of their athletes, both physically and emotionally! What stands out most at ACM is the culture of respect - respect between coaches and athletes, among teammates, and for the sport itself. The program does an excellent job of balancing competitive excellence with compassion and encouragement. It's clear that the athletes are not only becoming stronger gymnasts, but stronger people as well. I cannot emphasize enough how well the Team balances athletic performance and mental well-being. Becca and her staff have fostered an environment where young athletes learn to advocate for their needs ...... and be heard and respected. And what a comeback after the devastation of Hurricane Helene! The literal hundreds of hours that were poured into preparing the gym for our athletes to return was incredible. They not only came back strong, but with better equipment and resources. During the process of restoring the gym, Becca worked cooperatively with Hahn's Gym and Precision Gymnastics to provide a space for our girls to practice. We appreciate the helping hands of those gyms as well. I could go on and on, but I highly recommend this program to any family looking for a positive, supportive, and motivating gymnastics community.
ACM is the most family friendly, caring environment for your gymnast. They are very knowledgeable about the best approaches to teaching gymnastics in a way that is healthiest for your child. During the storm, the coaches were right there for my daughter and never gave up hope. The whole community came together to get the gym back up and running and they did it so fast and with so much love. I cannot say enough good things about ACM.
Our kiddos love it here so much! They have so much good programming that keeps the kids growing physically and mentally. Our kids have enjoyed it so much they both started in Stella Luna, the preschool class, and stuck with it for years. It is their favorite activity and the summer camps are a favorite too. We have been inspired by the owners and management’s organization with how much is always going on there. They are also super warm and kind to our kiddos, making them always excited to go.
Our daughter has been a student at ACM since third grade (she is now in sixth grade). To say that her time here has been one of the most formative and positive experiences of her childhood would be an understatement. This is her second year on team, and she has absolutely loves it! Under the leadership of Becca and her coaches, she has grown so much - not just in her physical skills, but also in her confidence, dedication, leadership, and teamwork. She has become close friends with many of her teammates, and watching the way that these girls support and cheer each other on every day is incredibly heartwarming. When our daughter tells us about how practice went, she is as excited for her teammates and their achievements as she is for her own, and I imagine many other ACM parents feel the same. We consider ourselves very fortunate to be part of the ACM community, and we're very grateful to the owners, coaches, and staff who work so hard to create a welcoming, safe, and nurturing space!
