Ascent Running Camp is an overnight cross-country/distance running camp in Banner Elk for athletes entering 8th-12th grade (roughly ages 13-18) of all ability levels. Directed by former pro runner Christo Landry, campers build summer fitness in the mountains with coaching from collegiate athletes and veteran coaches, staying in shared dorm rooms Sunday through Friday with meals and on-site transportation included.
