Art Time for Kids is a Fredericksburg art studio open since 2014, a block from the Rappahannock River and Riverfront Park, teaching art to students ages 2-18 and music to children under 5. Its week-long summer camp mixes individual and group art projects with a cooking day and a day at the Rappahannock River, and past sessions ran 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. - a mid-day camp shorter than a full workday - at $225 per child including materials. Space is limited, and weekly parent-child art classes for ages 2-5 run year-round.
