Great way to spend time outdoors and exploring the grounds. We packed snacks and found an ice quiet spot to relax for a bit and people watch after exploring the trails. Incredible art, and such a unique experience.

So nice. Free to visit. Beautiful and spacious. You could definitely spend a whole day here! I brought food and chess and we had a picnic on the grass which was also so beautiful. There are ducks in pond that you can watch while sitting on a little outdoor wooden swing. Just so lovely and felt like we were the only ones there!! Art is beautiful.

I registered ahead of time for a 2 hour staggered arrival window , as is suggested due to limited parking. Despite an apparent field trip there, I had no issues parking. I went to Storm King a few years ago, and although I have lived in this area since 2008, I’ve never made it to Art Omi. What a magical place. While it is 120 acres compared to Storm King’s 500, you can easily make a day of your outing, with 2-3 hours to walk the grounds and see all the exhibits, then have a picnic or stop by the cafe. There is also a small art installation inside the visitor center. This is a magical place, with nature and art. I ended up walking 4 miles and I think I saw it all.

Art Omi is such a peaceful and inspiring place to wander solo. The open fields and forest paths are well maintained with incredible large-scale sculptures that feel both surreal and grounding at the same time. Every turn offers something new abstract shapes, bold colors, and pieces that make you stop and think. I loved the mix of concrete, metal, and nature working together… it’s like walking through an outdoor dream. It’s quiet, easy to navigate, and perfect for anyone who loves art, photography, or just a calm escape surrounded by creativity. Definitely worth the visit! Definitely a gem!

A perfect outdoor sculpture museum/park to enjoy a nice walk in nature while contemplating very interesting and thought provoking sculptures. It is a large outdoor space that is well kept. It’s dog friendly so it’s a nice activity for the full family! They also have a small cafe available. A recommended place for a fun outdoor activity!
