Art of Dance Studio is a small studio at 576 Upward Road in Flat Rock teaching ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, contemporary, hip hop, theater jazz, performance and tumbling, deliberately keeping classes small for more individual attention. It hosts summer camps and states a mission of promoting activity and a positive body image through dance. Camp dates, daily hours and age bands are not published.

When they first started it was in a small studio with only Ms. Kate as teacher & owner with them learning ballet, tap, & jazz. When the new year started in August in a bigger studio (now an even bigger, nicer studio as of the end of April), the girls were excited that there were new styles of dance (hip hop, contemporary, modern & tumbling/acro) for them to learn. With the new studio & dance styles came new teachers that are great as well, specializing in the style of dance they teach. The pricing is great as well especially if you have more than one child wanting to dance. If your child (boy or girl) is interested in dance you should definitely come & try out Art of Dance.
