The Armed Services YMCA of Missouri (Fort Leonard Wood) runs Operation Summer Camp, sending children of active-duty military families to YMCA Camp Lakewood, a residential overnight camp in Potosi, MO. Weekly Sunday–Friday sessions for ages 8–16 run through the summer, with meals provided and scholarships covering most of the cost (families pay a $150 fee).
