The Arizona Sailing Foundation runs a Junior Sailing Program on Tempe Town Lake for children ages 8-12, teaching sailing on Optimist dinghies with US Sailing-certified instructors and safety boats. Classes are held on weekends (Saturday and Sunday over two weekends) from 8:30am to 12:30pm at the North Shore Marina.
