The views here are amazing!! Unfortunately the day I went called for some weather & high winds. Was able to accomplish 2 peaks in the circut. There is also a $5 fee

This is an awesome place for intermediate, experienced, and backcountry skiers to test their skills. The views on the mountains are absolutely incredible for how close this place is. There are two main chairs: 1 is 800' elevation gain, 2 is 1200'. There's a third chair, the T-bar, that is great for beginners and those that want to ski the lower end of the mountain. Arctic Valley is a gem in the long winters and I plan on coming back every winter

Great spot for snowboard lovers (very frequent) 😊 With flexible hours Friday to Sunday for skiing/snowboarding and Thursday to Sunday for tubing. _Activities_: - Snowboard: Quite steep slopes, ideal for people with a high level of experience. - Nordic skiing: Available in some areas. - Trekking/Hiking: Explore the area on foot and enjoy the scenery. - Kids under 6 and over 70 ski free. _Tubing_: 90-minute sessions _Facilities_: Large parking area, equipment rental, restrooms, café, and brunch. _Location_: 30-40 minutes from downtown Anchorage. Check specific hours on their website before heading out.

If you are going to do snow tubing, this is not the place. Just take Arctic Valley Road until the end, and you'll see Rendezvouz Cafe and the parking area. I pinned the exact area - Arctic Valley Snow Tubing. We had a fantastic time snow tubing here. The sunset is jaw dropping.

Nice little skiing area. Beautiful area with some decent ski trails and lots of hiking trails. Great place to harvest berries in the summer and early fall. There are a few parking lots with a small fee. This location teeters along the border of JBER, a military installation, so be careful where you park and hike. There is a small convenience store with some souvenirs, food, and drinks.
