The Arapahoe Warriors Youth Hockey Association is described as the largest youth ice hockey organization in Colorado, serving the south Denver area from the South Suburban Family Sports Center - the Colorado Avalanche practice facility - and the South Suburban Ice Arena. It is a season-long league and travel program rather than a summer camp, fielding competitive Rocky Mountain Hockey Federation teams for ages 9-18, house-recreational Colorado Recreation Hockey League teams for ages 9-18 for players not trying out, girls-only teams in the Colorado Girls Hockey League, and an 8U Mite program split into beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.

★Might maristWe played their team few times. Decent skills, I could say even very good level, BUT coaches are promoting rough play on rec team, which is illegal these days. Kids get hurt left and right. No fun playing with this team - coaches are intimidating referees, encouraging players to play dirty. So if you as a parent want to get your kid hurt or live with the thought that your kid crippled someone's other child then join this team, they are for you, but if reasoning is still present and you would like for your child to enjoy a game and show how skills can win any time then skip them or better avoid them at all cost.
