Phenomenal location, booking was very easy. Drive in was gorgeous. We have a large SUV so it was easy for us with the steep inclines. My boys LOVED running around at the courts, exploring around the caboose, and of course visits from the dogs. We saw turkeys and to kids that was a hoot! An awesome experience!

Really enjoyed our visit to Apple Ridge Farm. I'd definitely want to stay here again if we come up near Roanoke again. We stayed in Caboose #3. We booked through AirBNB. The host was nice, the place was clean, and self check-in at the caboose was easy and we didn't need any assistance.

My wife and I (and dog!) booked a caboose for two nights and had a wonderful time! The caboose was fun, and they stocked it with a great selection of breakfast foods (it's a bed and breakfast plan). We really loves the trails all through the farm. I went trail running, the three of us went hiking, and our dog thought she was in Disney World! It's about a 30 minute drive to Floyd which has a nice selection of restaurants, music, and funky stores. We plan to return for a longer visit!

Absolutely the coolest air bnb I have stayed at so far! Was looking for a unique place to stay and definitely found it here! Caboose #3 so awesome! Very cute and fun place to stay for a couple days! This farm has a ton of stuff to do, tennis court, basketball courts, pickle ball, ball field and pool. There is a nature science center as well. Just a quiet, awesome getaway! @appleridgefarmva

This place is GREAT! We have two small kids (7 and 4) who were PUMPED to stay here! We stayed twice, once on the way to a destination and then again on the way back. We stayed in Caboose #3 and then #1. Both are perfect for a family of 4. Every detail is thought of. The “breakfast” is enough for dinner as well as breakfast. This was great seeing as the nearest dinner spots open were 30 minute drive up/down a mountain. There were kid activities of coloring pages and stickers and even a red caboose key chain! They even provide a flashlight for night time exploring. The trails are awesome and it’s great to get those wiggles out before or after a long drive. They also provided horseshoes and other flying things in a tub for kid use. Top notch. Roomy and comfy!!! The farm dogs (which are apparently neighborhood dogs) were super friendly and happy to be hosts! The actual host was extremely communicative and we have already told everyone we know about this little GEM. Come stay here. It’s awesome. If nothing else, come for the view. The stars are incredible.
