I have been horseback riding several times prior this and this a different experience. First, these grounds are immaculate and the barn is beautiful. You can tell these horses are well cared for. Prior to riding, the guide lets you meet and brush your horse. My wife and I found this experience to be awesome. The guide also teaches you about horse care, pressure points of the horse and how the saddle works. The riding is also different from what I have experienced in the past. Instead of driving the horse yourself, the guides lead the horse on the trail. This was my wife’s first time and she was terrified to do it so this was awesome for her! She actually got to enjoy it, so if this is your first time or someone else’s first time, then this place is perfect. Personally, I missed being independent and working with the horse. Don’t expect that, but once again, I have ridden a horse seven or eight times prior. This was a perfect experience for my wife. I also felt our money was well spent when we saw the care of the horses. Overall, the experience was unique and great for my wife. I highly recommend.

I brought my daughter and son to Apollo Farms for lessons. They had a great experience. We love Sparkle. the ponies are very well nice and safe. They made the kids feel really comfortable and taught them the basics. We were warmly welcomed to a pristine kept property. The floors in the barn were cleaner than the ones in my house ! Every horse was shiny and looked pristine. I love the one on one attention. Would recommend to anyone looking to take lessons.

Riding at Apollo Farms has been an amazing experience. As a student you get to learn about horsemanship, daily care, and riding. I have had the opportunity to ride several of the lesson horses and ponies. The experience is always pushing me to the next level. I went from just knowing the basics, to now being able to jump a course and compete. This past summer I won my first Champion and Reserve! I like that I am just not another student but I am part of a barn family.

My family went to Apollo Farm as a gift for my daughter's birthday. As beginners, we appreciated the individualized attention given to us as we rode the trail at Apollo Farm. Delia answered all of our questions about the farm and the horses, so it was also a great learning experience. The farm has a clean appearance, and beautiful landscape. The only thing that would have made the day better, would be if we could have ridden two by two, so that we could see each other's reactions to the ride. My children were all behind me, so I could not see their expressions, or ask how they were liking the experience. Thank you Delia, we had fun!

Booking a ride for my family while on vacation was extremely easy. I called and spoke to someone who was able to confirm they had an opening and I went right online and paid for our ride. We arrived to the farm which was beautiful. The stable was very clean and the horses were gorgeous. We were able to spend time brushing a horse and getting comfortable with them before riding, and getting a little lesson in how to handle them as well. Each of my family members which included my two daughters (10 and 6 years old) were paired up with horses that suited us. Being that none of us had ridden before we were all made to feel very comfortable in being up on the horses and walking around for a bit before actually going on the trail. The grounds were beautiful, and the owner of the farm and her helper (which might have been her daughter) were so sweet and accommodating. They walked with use through the trail and we all felt very safe, It was a wonderful experience and the whole family had a great time. I would definitely recommend this particular stable for a family looking to have a relaxing ride I know should we be in the area again we would love to go back!
