The APJCC Preschool at the Addison-Penzak Jewish Community Center in Los Gatos runs a summer camp for children ages 18 months to 5 years, part of the JCC's broader Camp Shalom. The preschool-age program offers traditional day-camp activities-games, arts and crafts, swimming, singing, science and nature, field trips, and theme weeks-while the JCC also offers specialty tracks (circus arts, cooking, dance, LEGO engineering, STEM, sports) for older campers. The JCC is a nonprofit welcoming families of all faiths.

Powered by GoogleWe couldn’t be happier with our experience at APJCC Preschool. The teachers and staff go above and beyond to keep the kids safe, happy, and engaged. Our son had an amazing time, and it’s clear they genuinely care about each child’s growth and well-being. Highly recommend this wonderful program.
My son loves this school. He has built so much confidence in himself, strong friendships with his peers, and bonds with his teachers. I feel so comfortable leaving him in the capable hands of the staff here. All kids and families are welcome here. They teach about Jewish values and holidays, but there are families of all faiths so don't let that aspect keep you away from an amazing school if you aren't Jewish yourself. The preschool has allowed us to be part of a wonderful community. 10/10
My family is entering our third year with kids at the APJCC preschool. We attribute so much of our older daughter’s growth to her years here. The teachers put a great emphasis on helping the kids learn to communicate kindly with each other while also maintaining their personal boundaries. Every day when my daughter walked into her classroom, her teachers made her feel special and wanted there, and she was always happy to go to school. I’ve been happy with the diversity of the students and teachers at the school as well. While the school does celebrate Shabbat with the kids by making challah each Friday in the classrooms and observes Jewish holidays, there are plenty of families and teachers at the preschool who don’t observe these customs at home, and that only adds to the richness of the community.
All 3 of my children have attended the APJCC Preschool and I cannot speak highly enough about our experience! The staff and administration are top tier and my children love going to school everyday! What more could you ask for? It's a truly special place.
We have sent all 4 of our girls to APJCC Preschool! This is truly an amazing place and real home away from home. Come check out the school in person. You will see the true commitment of love from all of the teachers, celebrating each child. Fostering their creativity and curiosity.
