I have had my granddaughter enrolled at Apexx for the past couple of years and never had an issue until she returned in September under the new management. The weekly rate was $60, but beginning the first week of September, the center withdrew nearly $800 from my account without authorization in less than two weeks. When I asked the manager about the charges, I was told it was a “Spark system issue” and that it would be corrected. Instead of correcting it, more money continued to be taken. After questioning it again, I was told the withdrawals were happening because there “weren’t enough funds” in my account, which was not true — and I provided proof. I was then told the owner, Doug Rankin, was the one processing the charges and that they were for “Summer Camp.” My granddaughter was not even in the state during the summer session, so that explanation was impossible. They issued a few partial refunds but then took out even more money afterward. I have emailed and spoken to Doug directly, and now he has stopped responding completely. At this point, I have been more than patient and respectful, but the situation is still unresolved. I am sharing this so other parents are aware. When you trust a childcare facility, you should not have to worry about unauthorized withdrawals or being ignored when you try to address them. I hope they choose to correct this, but as of now, I cannot recommend this center based on my experience.

Apexx has been amazing for my son. He has truly enjoyed the atmosphere that Apexx provides all the way from the kids to the staff. He is on the spectrum, but the staff has been done a great job with him. I would recommend Apexx to any family looking for a summer camp or after school place. This is where you want to be.
