Great venue for a PCA Social. Ate, drank, and made merry. Cool door prizes too.

I was at marsh hardor marina and became acquainted with apalachee Bay yacht club. The numbers for the most part on friendly and open and interested in keeping a sailing community. They co sponsor a young sailing on a nearby Beach on apalachee Bay. Membership is affordable and includes use of the facilities that are nice for this area. They have a fairly active racing and go cruising once or twice a month depending on the season. This community is in a very low-lying area and subject to severe flooding during hurricanes. With the current climate and sea level being up it seems that this trend will continue and worsen in the future.

Friendly atmosphere, nice facilities, community focused. Ask to become a member and someone will gladly sponsor you for membership. Very low cost for access to sailboats, pool, ice machine and plenty of social gatherings.

We were passing through looking for information on where we could launch our sailboats and sail on future trips. Sondra and others were very friendly and eager to chat with us.
