This center was the big pull for us to Anthem. Such a family-friendly community!

While it is open for people with MEMBERSHIPS year round for lap lanes for the pools, it is fully open during SUMMERS and it's a pretty decent basketball course, and the gym itself is pretty good, but I wish they'd have a little more benching areas rather than mostly being treadmills.

Would of been cool if they mentioned you need to be a member of the community when I called or anywhere online

★★★★★BRAIN POWERS (K-12 Strategic Learning)

BRAIN POWERS has enjoyed hosting our DAY CAMPS at the community center, and we look forward to returning to provide more fun educational learning & in-person socialization and executive functioning development for K-12 students

The community center has a beautiful pool, water park, basketball courts, and a lot of exercise equipment. Unfortunately, even though the pool has lap lanes and scheduled hours, the staff could care less what the schedule is. I've attempted to get a swimming workout in on multiple occasions when they have closed the pool for events that are not listed on the public schedule. By the time you prepare, drive there, and find out access is denied, you've wasted a considerable amount of time; too much to be able to get a different type workout in. It would be a fantastic facility if they were dependable. Even when access is available, you continually are interrupted by their lifeguard drills where everyone has to evacuate the pool. I'm all for safety, but train on off hours. One more thing about the schedule: Lap lanes are closed between 4:00 and 7:30pm for "programs." If you work, this is when you get off work and want to get your exercise in. This clearly indicates that the lap lanes are not for members, but only for their revenue generating programs. This rant is done and I am done with the Anthem Community Center's worthless pool.
