Powered by GoogleThis park is so big! They have baseball fields, soccer fields, 2 play structures and tons of lawn. I love working out here and bringing my children to play.
We reserved a spot at the Anderson River Park with benches, bbq's gazebo covering, everything we needs for our special occasion. It was easy to fill out the application, easy to make the reservation and make the deposit payment to hold our reservation. Picked up keys on the Friday before the even, cleaned up afterwards and returned keys, received $10 key deposit back immediately. Very nice place for your special family, company, school event
The park on the river in Anderson is completely closed. This was not disclosed on the Parks & Recs website. Even worse, I drove down a long street in my 32' RV with no where to turn it around only to discover the closure sign and barricades at the very end! I had to back up the RV the entire length of the road to the nearest crossroad. This was more than an inconvenience! It is an outrageous safety issue!
Got my 4 & 5yr old boys free helmets! Receptionist was very pleasant and I didn't have to take an elevator (& thank God, because I hate elevators!) !!
This address location is for the Anderson Parks and Recreation Office Building. As far as I have seen in my 3 years living in Anderson they have done a wonderful job maintaining the parks. This address is also the location of Anderson City Hall and the community center where we come for square dancing.
