Powered by GoogleWe loved our son’s tutor Liz Rosenberg and the whole team at Amore Learning! His weekly summer lesson plans were custom to him and aligned with his summer reading requirements. Loved that he was more than ready for the Fall! And Liz’s warm and kind approach made summer work a great experience for him - that is a tall order :-). Could not say enough good things about Amore Learning!
We worked with Amore over the course of a couple of years to support our high school student as she tackled an accelerated math class. The entire team was a delight! Fantastic communication, and great partnership with us as parents to ensure we were matching the extra work to classroom concepts. Would certainly recommend Amore to anyone!
Amore is a gem of a place! My son has done foreign language tutoring as well as back to school and no school day camps, and the experience has always been fantastic! Great teachers, warm and enthusiastic staff and a welcoming space. Their offerings are broad and creative, and they really get to know your kiddo. They love what they do -- and it shows. Highly recommend them!
Amore has been an excellent hub for tutoring services for my 4th grader! We've worked with Amore for the past year for tutoring in both reading/writing and math. Liz is super knowledgeable and works thoughtfully to match students with the "just right" tutor for their needs and the tutors themselves (the amazing Tawny and Mostafa for us!) are incredible. I'd recommend Amore to parents seeking a one-stop hub for out-of-school support in almost any area!
Amore Learning does important work throughout D.C. empowering youth, but they also run camps when schools are off. My eight-year-old daughter and neighbor's five-year-old daughter loved spending the day at Amore Learning. The no-school camp is from 9am to 3pm. There's a small parking lot where you can park for drop off and pick up. My daughter and her friend made lots of crafts, played on the outside playground twice, and played with their new friends. Both said they really enjoyed it. It's worth noting that the price of the camp is more affordable compared to other D.C. camps.
