American Youth Harp Ensemble

The Richmond Summer Harp Institutes, run by the American Youth Harp Ensemble under GreenSpring International Academy of Music, train lever and pedal harpists ages 8 to 18. Students get private lessons with visiting faculty, ensemble rehearsals, workshops, masterclasses, structured individual practice and social activities, with repertoire matched to each student's level and coaching on memorization and performance etiquette. Weeks 1 and 2 are grouped by age and experience, and a two-week Conservatory track is offered; harps are provided for in-person institutes.
