A treasure in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia. The offer seasons of a variety of artistic entertainment that is family friendly all set in a park environment.

The classes are overpriced for the level of instruction provided. The instructor showed little interest in helping beginners and seemed to prioritize only the more advanced students, which made the environment feel discouraging rather than inclusive

Allens Lane has so much to offer in terms of expression. It's a cozy atmosphere to create. There's theater, art, music, family-friendly venues.

We are so fortunate to have a community arts center like ALAC right in our neighborhood! The staff and teaching artists are outstanding, and the environment is friendly and welcoming. I've been to many classes and programs there, and they always delight. Plus, you can pack a dinner and bring a bottle of wine to enjoy during the Live at the Lane productions! The ceramics and visual arts classes are excellent and offer something for all ages and abilities. And if you have younger children, the summer arts camp is outstanding. If you haven't been there in a while, be sure to check it out. And don’t miss the Mt Airy Arts Festival in September!
