Albany Jewish Community Center

The Sidney Albert Albany JCC runs Camp Shalom, a summer day camp for ages 6-15 at 340 Whitehall Road in Albany, New York. Campers swim and take part in sports, art, nature, ropes, dance, gaming, theme weeks, and special events over a seven-week season, with a separate teen camp and two weeks of post-camp; a new 'yurt village' adds a camping element. Jewish-community-based and open to all.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Albany Jewish Community Center directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleAWESOME Place!! Very friendly staff nice equipment and a great atmosphere
The indoor and outdoor pools are nice and so is the basketball court but staff NEED to be more friendly and the weight room is old and is missing a lot of equipment. Also very pricey.
The Albany Jewish community center is a fantastic facility filled with warm welcome and stuff you can easily answer your questions and create a sense of belonging and community was very impressed with the cleanliness of facility and the variety of different options it provides play a critical role on the social fabric of the community
My son enjoyed swimming that day. It was clean and neat. Ver polite staff
My family has a membership here and we love the convenient location. I like the outdoor pool in the summer and my partner and teenage son like the gym. They offer programming for seniors and kids, and the basketball gym gets a fair amount of traffic if you're interested in that.
