Adam's Camp is a Colorado nonprofit offering specialized therapy and recreation programs for children, youth, and adults with special needs and their families. Its intensive therapy camps use a 5-5-5 model (teams of five therapists working one-on-one with five children over five days, about 5-6 hours daily), while Adventure Camp is a five-day sleepaway program for campers with mild to moderate intellectual and developmental disabilities. Age-tiered therapy tracks plus sibling and parent support round out the programs.

This camp has unrealistically made no change to the dynamics or staff they hire. The counselor that I was with in 2022 was a very blunt, snobby, rude guy. The dynamics within this camps daily basis schedule NEEDS to change in EVERY single aspect of this entire camp. Strongly recommend that you can go to it, but don’t go for too long because it will definitely define you as a person.

They used to be top-notch. Now they have three people and a guy in charge of the program all doing with the previous director could do herself. Now you ask them questions and nobody can respond or if they do they push you off to somebody else who pushes you off to somebody else then they schedule for family s'more night campfire with songs and instead of a campfire add roasting s'mores they come to the campsite with already pre-made cold s'mores and don't tell anybody where that's located and you tried to figure out what the schedule is for the weak and 2 months ago you were supposed to have received and most never received it

My son had an amazing time at camp this summer! We cant wait to go back. I am not sure what the 2 1-star reviews are about but they did have to close last year due to covid. They also have a great scholarship program if money is an issue.
