The Academy of Competitive and Performing Arts is the best place in Starkville, Mississippi for all of your dance, cheer and gymnastics needs! From great teachers and coaches to great customer service. As long as we are living in Starkville, my family and I will continue being apart of the ACPA family! The Pro-Shop always offers friendly faces and great prices! We can’t wait to host our next birthday party here!

Do not recommend this place for any international student. Two ladies in the front office were so rude and racist. I had my son doing gymnastics for the past two months. On the second month a lady from the front office came to me and ask to register my son in ACPA. I thought they misplaced the registration form which I already did two months back, and I was humble enough to fill out the forms again. Then they asked for the registration fees and two months class fees. I normally do all my payments on the first day of the class in each month, so I refused to pay it again. Then the two ladies asked me to remove the kid from the class and asked me again to pay two months class fee or get a legal notice from their lawyers. I still didn't want to pay the class fee twice so I refused. Then they gave me a waiver and asked me and my son not to come their premises again. That's why I don't recommend this place to anyone. I am not going to mention how racist they were during the conversation (because of my skin color and education) , which made me so mad and I don't want anyone to fall in this situation with these unethical front office ladies. If you still want to join the classes please do not use cash like I did, use a card so you can prove your payments.

The facilities are above-average, and it is operated by an outstanding member of the community who sometimes allows the site to be used by community/non-profit organizations. The gym hosts dance classes, gymnastics classes, cheerleading classes, tumbling classes, and more. The site can be rented for birthday parties and private events. Overall, this is an excellent facility that is operated by a kind-hearted family.

We absolutely love this facility and it's owner. When my son was younger, it was a great place to take a small child for open gym. The bouncy house and the foam pit are his favorites. Now that he is old enough for classes, he can't wait to go to gym and work on his flips. Thanks, Ashley!

Can’t recommend ACPA enough. We’ve had so many birthday parties here AND taken classes. The staff is amazing and you will not be disappointed.
